O'Day 2008

Written by Emma Lancaster on Tuesday 19 February

Welcome to your University!

Enjoy the  delights of Orientation Day 20th February 2008. Make sure to join your Students' Association, meet your SRC reps, pick up a showbag  and get involved!

UTS has a lot to offer new students with clubs to join and events to go to.   When first starting Uni it can be a bit hard to get into the swing of things, that is why your Students' Association is here to help. We run campaigns around campus including Clean Energy, No- Student Poverty Breakfasts and Education Action Groups plus many more. Joining your Students' Association is a great way to meet other passionate students that are interested in the things that you are.

Ed Cast NOW!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the successful Ed Cast NOW campaign in 2007. We are pleased to announce that the University has committed to trailing the technology in UTS classrooms from this year onward.

Furthermore the University has allocated substantial funding as part of its Teacing & Learning Performance Fund grant to investing in emerging educational technologies.
